Tip Counterintuitive Tip #14: If someone does something extraordinary for you, don’t feel obliged to reciprocate in kind – just say “thank-you”.

Tip Counterintuitive Tip #15: There’s a big difference between being proactive and taking initiative on your own behalf versus passively waiting until things happen that are good only because they’re happening to YOU.. so be mindful about what you want as opposed to feeling like it’s owed or deserved by default. Be grateful when anything happens if at all possible, and remember that everything always works out even if it’s not the best thing.

Tip Counterintuitive Tip #16: When you’re feeling down or discouraged, try to remember that this is temporary and things will get better – even if they don’t seem like they’ll improve right away. If someone tells you something might happen in the future but doesn’t know for sure (e.g., “maybe we can go tomorrow”), tell them confidently that YES! You are going then because YOU set your own expectations high enough so as to make anything possible. And when you need encouragement, find a qualified mentor/coach who actually knows what he’s talking about instead of one who just says whatever sounds nice with no real substance behind it all..you have to be willing to trust their advice and work hard.

Just take some restorative downtime so that when the next plan comes up, you’ll be ready for it!

Tip Counterintuitive Tip #18: Understand what your own limitations are and know when something’s not possible even with a lot of effort put into it – this will set realistic expectations for both yourself and others who you may be trying to help. Tip Counterintuitive Tip #19: Keep an eye on your progress, but don’t beat yourself up for not meeting goals – you’re probably doing better than you think! Tip Counterintuitive Tip #20: Stop thinking of How to Separate Names in Excel as a chore that has no payoff. “One step at a time” is cliché because it works, and one way we can make this work even more effectively is by reminding ourselves why we are doing these tasks (because they have huge personal impact).
