introduction, body and conclusion with subheadings for each paragraph within these sections (unnecessary if there is only one section). We also include links to related posts or articles on our blog or webinars to help you get a sense of what we’re talking about.

Introduction: The post should include a summary of the topic to be discussed, keywords and short-form content in order to entice readers to click on your blog link. You can also include an introduction explaining why you wrote this article as well as what they will learn from reading it if that is relevant for the particular topic/article type (e.g., Why do we use videos? What are video effects?)

Dylan has been using Adobe Premiere Pro since he was five years old so he knows how much fun it can be! He’s here today to teach you some basic tips and tricks for creating awesome videos with these programs. Dylan starts by telling us all about his favorite software – DaVinci Resolve!

The first tip is to use the “Chroma Key” effect. When you’re done filming your video, click on a clip in the timeline and then choose an option under “Effects.”

Dylan recommends choosing one of these five effects: Prizm, Luma Matte, Chroma Keyer-Outsider Matte or Selective Color Corrector – Hue/Saturation. For this post he will show us how to make someone disappear with the Chroma key tool by using DaVinci Resolve. He’ll do all that while we watch!

He starts by creating a new sequence (you can read more about what those are here!) and adding some footage to it from his computer’s desktop folder as well as from an online clip he found. He also adds a green screen clip to the sequence and then turns it into a background by simply clicking on the “BG” button in DaVinci Resolve’s tool bar, jumping over to Media Manager and dragging his footage onto that BG option when prompted.

The next step is adding some color correction using Selective Color Corrector – Hue/Saturation (you can read more about what those are here!) or Luma Matte for video effects software! Dylan recommends making your own custom presets so you don’t have to go hunt around every time you want this particular look; just hit ‘Save’ once you’ve got things looking perfect and save them with whatever name suits your fancy.

It can be hard to know what type of video effects software will work best for your needs.

Depending on the project, there are a handful that have emerged as leaders in this world and they all offer slightly different things: DaVinci Resolve is great if you’re dealing with color correction; Vegas Pro 13’s advanced tools make it perfect for green screen compositing (just think about how many movies were edited on it!) or rendering out high quality videos so you don’t waste time encoding at home! Adobe Premiere Pro has some amazing editing features which we’ll cover more next week when we talk about filmmaking techniques; Avid Media Composer is an industry standard because of its speed – just read any article written by someone who works in post-production.
