I have been a beachbody ever since I was little. I have always had a love for fitness and I have always been a fan of the beach. Like most women, I’ve always been a little self-conscious about my body. I’m not ashamed of it (although I think I look very good for my age), but I’ve never really been comfortable in my own skin. I guess that’s why I’ve always felt like I’ve been wearing glasses.
I know Ive been wearing glasses since I was a teenager. Ive never been shy about my body, but Ive always felt like it was more of a fashion statement than a statement of who I am. I guess thats why Ive always looked so self-conscious. I really like it though. I think the only way to be comfortable in your own skin is to accept who you are. Don’t change it.
The fact of the matter is though that we are all pretty comfortable in our own skins as well. We wear glasses, we wear jeans, we wear whatever they deem to be cool. We all enjoy the same things we enjoy no matter what they are. We have little trouble accepting our bodies as they are, regardless of what they look like. As a result, Ive never really been comfortable in my own skin.
