The first thing I did when I woke up was put my car keys in my pocket and head to the grocery store. I would be a few minutes late, which was fine by me because I wanted to avoid the embarrassment of running late, but I found that this delay was a good thing because I had an extra hour in the car.
After that, I decided to grab a quick bite to eat at the local diner. Unfortunately for me, the food I ate there was bad, but I was able to convince the waitress that I wasn’t paying for it and ordered a cheeseburger and fries.
It’s a funny thing about the diner. I’m a very fast eater, so I could eat in an instant. I also don’t have a lot of patience for waitstaff who don’t know when to make a meal of me. I know I should’ve gotten a sandwich, but I know that if I’d gotten a cheeseburger, I wouldn’t have had the energy to get a bite to eat.
Now I can’t say I’m a fast eater by any stretch, but I definitely have the patience to wait for a cheeseburger. This is one of the main reasons I’m always late for my appointments.
The diner is one of the most common places to wait for a sandwich on Deathloop. The idea is that one of the Visionaries is a fast eater, so they’ve built a place for people to eat in an instant. They’re doing this to help us out with our “time loop” problems and because they want to see us again. The problem is that because they’re letting us eat in an instant they aren’t giving us a regular sandwich.
We all know the feeling. Cheeseburgers are a big no-no, especially when youre on an island with nothing to do. When I first got to Deathloop I had a cheeseburger every time I went to the diner. This annoyed my friends and family, but it was for the best. Now Im not so sure.
The last time we went to the diner was the night before the first day of school and everyone was tired, hungry, and cranky. It was the night before our first day of school. It was the night before we were all supposed to eat. And it was the night before we were going to go to the hospital for surgery.
I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back. It’s not that I don’t like the food, I just don’t think I want to be surrounded by people constantly eating cheeseburgers, and I also don’t want to have to listen to people constantly complaining about how hungry they are. I think it’s important to learn to be a little self-sufficient and to focus on simple pleasures.
I remember the first time I heard the word “cheeseburger” I thought it sounded like a terrible combination of “cheese” and “burger”. Thats what happened to me that night. I was pretty much screaming, “I do not want cheeseburgers!” at the top of my lungs. I couldn’t eat any. And that was it.
Well, if you need to eat cheeseburgers, you might have a need for a cheeseburger. After all, many people are so hungry that they don’t bother to put on any pants.
