If you have ever been in a gym and had to work out in a different setting, you know it can be difficult to feel like you belong. It can make you feel uncomfortable to work out in the dark and there is a fair amount of anxiety that occurs as well. Many times, you don’t know exactly what you’re doing and end up injuring yourself. This is when the self-awareness comes in.
Pat Mcnamara is a well-known fitness/strength coach who has had his own experience with this. He was recently a guest on the podcast “Stuff That Matters” and had some interesting things to say about the process of getting to know yourself. He said that it is important to not “just be average” in this area as there is a fine line between being average and being a complete dummy.
This is also a great reminder that when you try to do something you’re not sure what you’re doing, you need to be very specific with what you’re trying to do. There’s a fine line between being “just a little bit off” and being completely incompetent. The more specific you are, the less you’ll mess up and the more accurate you’ll be.
It reminds me of the first time I went to a gym. I had never been to a gym before, and I had no idea what to do, so I went in with no idea what to do. I got pumped up and started doing a lot of weird moves and shit. I realized pretty quickly though that I had no idea what I was doing and it was probably going to make it a lot harder for me to get to the end.
Just think about it. When you are exercising, you are creating a contract with yourself through repetitive exercise. The contract is a way to describe what you do, what your goals are, and the rules you have to follow. If you are looking to just get your ass pumped up and get it done, it won’t be that big a deal.
It’s hard to explain. This contract is created by every muscle you use in life, and your contract will change as your muscles change over time. Your contract is created by your brain, and the contract changes as your brain changes. So when you are doing a big move like a squat, you are actually creating a contract with your brain. It’s like the contract you had with your first gym teacher.
When you are doing a big move and you are building the contract with your brain, you are actually creating it with the rest of your muscles, which is why it is usually easier to get your ass pumped up when you work out than when you are just sitting there. The contract is created by the muscles, so you actually have to do your contract, and in most cases you can only go as far as the muscles allow you.
Well, pat looks like he is doing some serious work to get his muscles going.
pat may also be an expert at getting his muscles going, but he is also a pretty big guy. So if you are going to do some serious work to build your contract, you might as well do it using your abs.
The best way to get your abs pumping is to do as many pushup variations as you can. This is a great way to build your muscles and get your abs pumping.
