JAM! is a food truck that goes where the crowds are (the food truck is on the corner of Ponce de Leon and Juanita Sts.). They have a menu of homemade jams, sandwiches, soups, and other delicious snacks that they add to the lineup every day. They also have an incredible selection of local fruits and veggies.
In early June, they’ve decided to do a food truck in the area that is now the center of the homeless encampment in Wilmington. They’ve already made their plans for “jamaica jamaica” food trucks, which will be made of locally grown food prepared by the community, to be on the corner of Ponce de Leon and Juanita Sts. They’re hoping to attract as many people as possible.
The food trucks are part of a larger project called The Wilmington Food Truck Rally. The event is an attempt to bring a local food truck to the center of the homeless encampment in Wilmington. According to the organizers, this would be the first food truck to ever have its food prepared right here in the city.
The food trucks will be put out on the corner of Ponce de Leon and Juanita Sts., which is currently being used to house the homeless. The food trucks will be serving up lunch to the homeless. The goal is to get them to eat healthier food, which is often a struggle with the homeless.

The food truck itself will be the same size as a normal food truck, but the food truck will stand in a circle so that the homeless can take their food out of the truck for free. We can’t wait to see what this will look like, and if it’s good enough for the NFL’s food truck, it’s probably good enough for ours.
