This is my favorite thing about life: when you find yourself in a situation where you can’t stand to not be in the moment, where you’re always thinking about something, you realize that the reason you don’t get it doesn’t matter, because you are in the moment anyway. It’s simply a matter of you accepting it.
This is why I’m so obsessed with getting better at being in the moment in my life. I want to be a better person as I get older. There is more to life than just getting to where you are. You have to live and do what you gotta do to do what you gotta do. And the truth is, the moment that you are now will change how you do.

I have had days in the last year where I felt like I was just plain exhausted. In these days, I have been able to focus on doing things that I love, even if they just take a little bit longer than I anticipated. There has been a definite change in my attitude towards exercise. I think it is important to realize that youre doing your job and that in doing that, youre also doing many other things that are important to you. If youre not doing your job, youre not doing your life. So instead of asking yourself what youre doing, ask your life what it would like to be doing.
