I’m not sure if I should call it self-awareness training because it’s more of a mindset training. I guess it is training to think more about what you’re doing, not just the behavior you’re putting yourself into.
Yes, that’s what any self-aware person would say. But for me, I think it’s more of a mind training thing. I’m not sure I did the hard-core self-awareness training with all the self-analysis and self-talk, but I also wanted to put myself in situations where I could be in control again. In other words, I wanted to train my brain to think about what I’m doing instead of just doing it.
I think it is the same thing that any good self-aware person would say when they do something they dont want to do. But for me, I think training my brain to think about what Im doing instead of just doing it.
The reason I think it is the same thing is because I can do those things when I am on a plane, when I am in a crowd or when Im sitting in a dark room. You might be thinking Im putting my ego aside, but I think that those things are just habits that we have to change. Like you said, it might not be a conscious decision to act that way, but it is a habit and so it is part of my self-awareness.
I am not sure what you mean by “ego” and “ego-self”. If you mean your sense of self, then you are right. But if you mean a sense of self that includes your ego, then you are probably right. I am not sure what “ego-self” means. Does it mean a person who is not a selfish person.
In the “manifesting” episode of our show, “The Real”, we talked about how we are not only responsible for our own actions, but also for those of everyone around us. We can’t control or stop other people’s actions, but we can help them act in a more selfless way. We can help them become more aware of who they are and what they are doing. And in the past we have taught others that it’s okay to act selfishly.
In this episode of The Real I talked about the fact that selfishness is a form of ego-self. It’s just that our ego-selves are less aware of it. And because our ego-selves are not aware, the ego-self of other people can act on them, too. We are all responsible for our own actions, but we can help others act in a more selfless way.
I have been teaching a seminar for a few years now and during that time, I have seen a pattern emerge. Almost all of the people who attend my seminar are people who are doing something that they are very aware of and very conscious of, but they don’t have the ego-self that I have. And these people are a lot happier.
I have taught seminars about the effects of ego-self, but I have never seen anyone come away with a new, more selfless idea. The reason I attribute this to the ego-self is because we all have a tendency to want to feel better about ourselves. If we are aware of our own faults, we tend to feel better about ourselves.
