The first thing that strikes me about food 4 Less is that the majority of my readers will be able to agree that they would rather have a piece of pizza than a meat loaf. The second thing that strikes me is that food 4 Less is the least likely to make you feel guilty when you spend too much time thinking about food. When you spend too much time thinking about food, you can get a bad feeling about the quality of your meal, and thus you’re better off not eating it.
Why would you feel bad about eating meat? Because youre probably going to take it home and eat it? I think not. The second thing that strikes me about food 4 Less is that it is the least likely to make you feel guilty when you spend too much time thinking about food. In the case of food 4 Less, I think the problem is that its concept of “meat” is so foreign to what you’re used to eating. Meat isn’t a vegetable that you’re supposed to eat because it’s delicious, it’s a flesh-eating animal. For most people, that’s just not their cup of tea.
The irony is that Meat is so foreign to most of us that many of us consider it a moral gray area. When considering what we should be feeding our children, we’re still unsure of what the best thing is. In the case of Meat 4 Less, the problem with the concept is that it’s not even remotely meatless. In fact, it is an entirely meat-free product.
Well that is just not right. Meat is the foundation of our diets. Think about it. Meat provides the protein that many of us need for growth and maintenance. Why should we have all the fun of eating meat when we can be eating a healthy, nutritious alternative? The same goes for the Vegetables. Vegetables provide the vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to thrive. They are plant-based foods that provide us with more than just the flavor of a salad.
I’m a meat-eater. Meat is just so much more delicious. There is so much more flavor in the meat that it’s not even a question. The other problem I have with meat is that it is quite expensive. I don’t want to be a meat-eater. I just want to have a really good steak. Also, I don’t like how much beef goes into a steak. I’m not a steak guy. I don’t want steak.
