The other day I saw this sign and it really resonated with me. Food is a big part of life in the city, and that applies to the food that is served in restaurants. There are so many different places to eat in this city, but the one that resonated with me was the restaurant called Food 4 Less. They offer healthy food and great prices, and I wanted to share this with you.
I know you’re probably already aware of what I’m about to say, but if you’re still reading this, I want to make sure that you know that for most of the year, this restaurant is closed and inaccessible. I know this because my husband is a server for this restaurant on a regular basis. In fact, he’s worked there for years and years. The reason I bring this up is to show how important it is to check the menu regularly.
I know, you already knew the answer. But this is the best way to show that your next meal’s going to be a lot healthier than the last one was. I mean, they offer a lot of really great salads, sandwiches, and burgers, but you should always be checking the menu to see if they’ve got something that looks and smells like the food you’ve been craving for months.
Check the menu. It’s not too late. You can always just grab a bag of frozen yogurt and a bag of chips from the freezer and go out. You just never know.
But the answer isnt to eat less food, but rather to go out and get the freshest and most nutritious foods you can. It doesnt really matter if it is just a few items, or if theyve got a whole menu of things that you can get for next to nothing. The point is that it is your choice. It doesnt matter how many times youve eaten your healthy meals for days on end.
For me, the answer is food. I mean, theres always the chance of a bad bug or virus, but it is better to take a few simple precautions and avoid all of them. Just take out the extra chips or bag of chips youve bought from the freezer and just grab some fresh fruit. It doesnt really matter what it is, just go out and get what you can safely get.
Well, that’s something I have done for a long time, but for the first time I’m actually willing to do it. I’ve been making healthy snacks my way for a while, but I decided to step it up a notch and just make my own. So far it has worked pretty well, but I just want to do it more. Now if you guys think it’s too much, I’ve got some other ideas for snacks I could make (even better than those ones).
Ive been meaning to try making my own healthier snacks since I feel like Ive been lacking a lot of the “food” ones out there. I got some fresh fruit, Ive got some nuts and Ive also got a bunch of dried fruit. This will be my first step to being healthier, although I have a feeling that it will be quite a long way down the road. I am currently weighing out the snacks and making sure that I am comfortable with what I am doing.
I do want to make healthier snacks, but I have no clue what I can make better than the ones that I already have. I need to make the decision sometime soon. Maybe a couple of weeks.
I’m excited to be trying my hand at a little more healthy food and I am very excited to do it. With this being my first actual diet, I imagine I’ll be testing out new recipes and getting used to being more aware of what I am putting into my body. I also think that I will be able to eat more foods that are high in protein, like meat, fish, and eggs. I think I will also be able to cut back on the sugar and fat.
