I remember that 1976, my freshman year of college. I was a sophomore in high school, and all the food I ate was organic. It was the year organic foods became illegal in the United States. At that time, it was difficult to find organic food. I was trying to figure out if I should eat a lot of the unhealthy stuff I had been eating and still be healthy, or if I should buy more organic food and still be healthy.
The debate of what’s healthy versus organic is very much alive, and it’s important to discuss it. The reality is that a lot of “organic” food is not made from a clean, well-managed system. It’s often a cheap, quick way to get a food product onto the market, and it’s often less than the quality of the food a person really needs.
Most major food manufacturers have been putting a lot of effort into developing new food products, from “factory-farm” foods to organic fruits and vegetables. However, some of the new products have been putting out foods that are in fact food additives, and many of the ones currently in use have been banned in the US. The reason for this is that they are not made by a well-managed system and are extremely harmful to the body.
The food additive that’s been making the rounds lately is called “phenylbutazone,” which is a synthetic anesthetic used to help calm panic attacks in pets. It’s not a safe medication, but it’s been finding its way into our food supply with alarming rapidity.
Phenylbutazone has been linked to numerous health problems. While it is a food additive that may have some health benefits, it also carries a risk of serious side effects in humans, including birth defects. This is why the Food and Drug Administration has banned it back in the 70’s. But since then, it’s been banned in the United Kingdom and other countries.
While Phenylbutazone has been banned in the United States, it still remains widely available as a prescription medication. I’m not sure why, but it seems like the FDA has just been hiding it away and it’s now been banned by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States.
The FDA never told the public about it, so why hasn’t it been banned? Because the FDA is not made up of the best scientists. They do things like not tell the public about new drugs they’re testing, so we don’t know about them.
I thought the FDA was supposed to be a public and transparent agency. I never thought they were supposed to be the only place where you can get a prescription drug you can later get a prescription for. I also never thought that drugs like this were allowed to be sold in the first place.
I’m sure it’s just the way we have been taught to think about how we should act in the government. In reality, we have a long history of ignoring government oversight of government. We don’t know what we’re letting in, and when we find out, we get upset. We don’t know what we’re letting out, and when we find out, we get mad. The government is only supposed to be in charge of the things that are government.
It is really odd that the government would ban a food additive from our food supply in the first place. While it’s true that the additive is a chemical that has been used for some time, the government is clearly still in charge of what’s in our food. For instance, we have an extremely low rate of food-borne illnesses, so the government doesn’t need to ban the additive. It also doesn’t have to ban the additive.
