I think Google’s app is probably the closest thing to a “food hut” app out there. It seems to be based on the idea that you go to restaurants, and then the app pulls up all of the prices. I’d like to see more apps that are based on other apps like this, because I feel like Google should be figuring out how to make it so that the app is useful for people who have different types of access to Google places. For example, I can’t access Google maps for restaurants on my phone, but I can find places by typing in their name in Google places. Then I can have the app show me the closest restaurants. That’s something I really want to see.
