I can’t help but think that the workout video you’ve seen is more about the “get in shape” aspect of the workout than about the physical results, but I’d be willing to bet that it is just some sort of parody. If you’ve seen a workout video of a celebrity, you know they’re usually just pretending to do it to impress their friends.
I don’t know. I guess it’s just one of those things that seems to get a little too over the top for me. I can imagine it being a little too intense for some people. I’m not sure how many people actually try to lose weight, but many people who are looking to lose weight are probably already doing it.
I’ve seen a few celebrity workouts in which they exercise for so long that they lose all of their clothes. One time I saw a woman who looked to be in her mid-40s (but was probably much younger) in a workout video on YouTube, and she was wearing a full-length bathing suit underneath her workout outfit. I was kind of shocked, but then I realized the guy running the show was probably just pretending to do it for the camera, so I was fine with that.
This is the same sort of thing that happens to me when I exercise: I realize I’m not as fit as I once was and I need to work out more, and I then try to do stuff that’s not so hard. But when I get out there, my body feels like a weight it can never carry, and I always feel like I’m not getting enough oxygen. I think that’s where all of the good fitness video exercises end up.
I would love to see more videos like this because it really shows the value of a workout that doesn’t feel so much like work.
We love this sort of workout because it can be done in any environment. It’s not as about cardio or weight loss, but more about getting your heart rate up and burning off calories with a combination of cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and some proper exercise of your lower body.
I can’t believe that I’ve been doing this for years and years and years and never really figured out a good way to do this. I mean, it’s not like I eat a lot of meat or drink a lot of alcohol because of this I mean I can’t imagine doing this more than once a day.
