I’m a pretty big fan of Korean food. But, it was almost as if I was eating a mix of Japanese and Korean food. I was going to make this Korean food tulsa a week after moving to this location in Tulsa, OK.
I was actually so excited when I called the kitchen and they said they wanted to make this for me. This is a little weird, isn’t it? I mean, I have friends who make Korean food. But, I was so excited to actually make this myself, I just wanted to get it out of the way as soon as I could.
I know the recipes are traditional and traditional (and tasty!) but, what really makes this unique is that they use rice flour. I used this for my first attempt at this Korean food tulsa, and it was pretty good. I love the thick, chewy texture of the rice flour, the slight sweetness of the soy sauce, and the smoky flavor of the garlic. I think the texture of the rice flour and the soy sauce would probably work well together in other dishes as well.
I think this is the first recipe I’ve tried that uses rice flour, and I think it’s a pretty good one. The only real problem is that the ingredients seem to be a little over-priced. The ingredients for the rice flour are $4.50 per pound, and the ingredients for the soy sauce are $3.50 per cup. But hey, I got the recipe from a Korean website, so I guess it’s okay.
The ingredients for the rice flour are about 50% less expensive than you would find in Japan. If you can find a very cheap Vietnamese rice flour, I would recommend using it here. The soy sauce is in the same price range as you would find in Thailand, but I would recommend using it because of the strong flavor of the garlic.

It is a very easy thing to do this because most restaurants use the same standard of food preparation and ordering. The only difference being that in Korea it is served on a table with a napkin.

You’d think I’d be able to figure out a good restaurant, but that’s just not the case. It’s just not in my budget that I can afford to go out to eat, so I eat out when I can. A lot.
