I was walking through the parking lot of a local gym, and I stopped dead in my tracks. I saw a man, who I recognized from a previous workout class, with a lawn mower pulling a very large, very heavy, very bulky exercise bike. I looked at him, and he nodded at me. I asked to see the exercise bike for myself. Then I saw the man with the mower.
We need to understand that the gym we’re in is one of a very few places in the world where exercise bikes are allowed. Since these bikes are large, heavy, bulky, and very very heavy, it’s not surprising to find them there. The man with the mower was an absolute gentleman who only wanted to help and seemed genuinely interested in the workout.
I guess they want people to lift heavy things because it’s good for them, but then again, you’d think they’d want to exercise because they’re healthy. I bet the exercise bikes and treadmills they have are just as bad as the ones in the gym.
I wonder if any big box stores are actually selling treadmill bikes. I mean, I know theyre still a thing, but I don’t know that theyre worth it. It’s a good idea to keep your mind healthy.
