Middle Eastern food has been a staple in my home for many years now, and we have yet to leave the country and not try some of their dishes. I am not a big fan of many of the dishes, but the ones I can stand the look of are the pita bread, hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel. I have tried these dishes in the past and have always found them to be so incredibly good.
I’ll admit that I haven’t given them a fair chance. I might be one of those people who isn’t a fan of many of the dishes, but it’s one of those things that I am willing to try them even if I don’t like them. It’s such a shame that so many of the dishes I grew up with and have been eating for years are now dead because of all the new technology that has come along in the last couple of decades.
Falafel is one of those dishes that I grew up eating but I have also come to love. As the name would suggest, it is a flat bread spread with salad and spices that can be folded into a variety of meals, including tabbouleh and falafel. As you can tell, it has a lot of spices that are actually used in falafel, and I have not seen any flavor that is not used in the dish.
