It’s the most important thing before you head to the gym. I mean literally. The most important thing you can do before you go into the gym is get your body ready. In other words, get it ready to move and do what you want to do. Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you don’t have to take your workout seriously, but it does mean that you need to start thinking about it.
I often hear people talk about the amount of time it takes to work out. I have one of the same people doing a lot of cardio in the gym. She is going to the gym about two or three times a week, and it takes her about an hour to get into a good working mood because she is so in tune with her body. A lot of people I talk to talk about the amount of time it takes to do their workout, but it is the most important thing to do.
I know that saying it takes time is just sort of a joke, but I really know my friend. I’m actually the first person to tell her to start working out. I can tell you how many hours it takes her to actually get into a good mood in the gym. And I’m not just talking about the mood she is in after a workout. I’ve talked to her about how it feels to work out on her own, and the feeling is not good.
It’s not just the physical. It’s the mental aspect to it too. It’s the stress over how much time is left. How much more time is left for the rest of the day. It’s the way they train, the pace of their workouts, the amount of weight they are lifting, and the fact that they have to complete the workout in a certain amount of time.
I have heard many people talk about how hard it is to be on their own and how it can be stressful, so this is really a good example of how a new fitness habit can take a toll on our physical and mental well-being. And that’s the thing about self-awareness. It doesn’t just happen. It becomes a habit we have to train.
I have to say that when I first read about it I had a strong reaction. I had no idea what was going on. I thought, “this is the dumbest idea ever,” and of course it’s not. If you know what you’re doing, its not that hard. One of the first things the coaches tell you is to make sure you are not hurting yourself and that your muscles and body are not stressed.
So what happens is that we train ourselves in the right way. We train our bodies and our minds to be aware of what is going on around us. To be aware and respond to it. We train ourselves to be able to recognize and respond to our own thoughts and feelings. The very first step is to remind yourself that you are not in a time loop. In your mind, you are not the same person as you were yesterday, or last month, or even last year.
Another good way to train yourself to be aware and respond to your thoughts and feelings is to just take a few minutes to check your email, your calendar, and maybe even have a cup of coffee. Your body is not in a time loop. Your body is not the same person as it was yesterday, or last month, or even last year. And that’s okay.
The problem with making sure your body is in a time loop is that it can be very hard to know when you are in a time loop. It can be hard to tell when you are on a plane, or an airplane, or a bus. When you are in a time loop your entire experience of the world is one of constant movement. No matter where you are, there is always something you have to do. In other words, you always have to go somewhere.
It’s good to know you’re still alive. That’s why I make sure I have my oxygen tank on. If you’re in an airplane, you might as well strap on your oxygen. If you’re on a plane, you might as well be strapped on. If you’re in a car, you might as well be strapped on. And if you’re in a train, you might as well be strapped on.
