I’ve never taken a meal without eating one, but I do have many when it comes to the coop. If you have a bowl of coop food, or a couple of plates of pasta, I think you get what I mean: a meal that has been prepared in a proper way.

I like to think that there are a few things that make good food at a coop. These are the items that we take for granted in any setting that has a kitchen. Those are the things that give you the feeling of being home.

The key to having a good meal is that you prepare it the way you want it to be prepared. If it’s not the way you want it to be prepared, then it’s not a good meal. For example, if you ask for a salad, you shouldn’t expect salad to be served on a platter. If you ask for a salad, then it’s not a salad. You’re expected to choose what you want to eat.

In many places where you take something for granted, you take it for granted even when you know it is what you want. When I have dinner at my house I know I wont be having a large dinner.
