I’m not sure the raccoon stole the cat food. Sure, it was a raccoon, but maybe the cat was just trying to distract it. I do think this is a good visual for the difference between “I’m hungry” and “I might as well eat.
Although raccoons are big and scary, cats are small and adorable. So cute, in fact, that they could be mistaken for a raccoon in a cat food commercial. The good news is that raccoons are not poisonous, and you can’t get a cat to eat a raccoon, but raccoons are also quite susceptible to hunger, so you might decide to pick up a cat for dinner and not much else.
