The concept of having a kitchen where you cook is pretty normal. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it is still good to understand that this is a way to get in touch with a new culture while keeping the food fresher and more delicious.
I personally feel more comfortable when I have my kitchen to myself. It helps me feel more at ease while cooking and allows me to experiment a little more. Also, the fact that you can make a dish that looks delicious in the kitchen but tastes horrible in your kitchen is another bonus.
I have seen a lot of restaurants where they have kitchens that are open for you to walk by and grab a plate or drink something. This might be more of an issue for people who only work from home or have to work in a restaurant. However, I have seen restaurants where they have a kitchen that faces away from the table so you can walk in the door and grab whatever you need. This seems like a good option for people who want to be more social or want a little extra privacy.

I’ve had a waiter in a restaurant who would make me wait for him to finish serving my food, but I never actually gave him the chance. I think a lot of this is because I don’t want to think about what a waiter is thinking while he’s making food in front of me.
This is one of the issues with most restaurant reviews. The ones that focus on the service and/or ambiance. When you do a review, you take your time and think about the experience. You see if it was good or bad. But you also notice where things went wrong.
