Okay, I know it’s not quite the same as the one I served at a recent cooking event, but I don’t think I’ve ever cooked with seafood before. So, I’m not sure what to expect. I don’t think I even know what the mussels are, but the chinese food actually looked quite nice and was not too fishy.
I dont think Ive ever heard of seafood being too fishy before. I think that was a big problem with the previous “seafood” menu I ordered for the event. The seafood was not as flavorful as it should have been. I think they should have used more chili oil and maybe used some different kinds of seafood.

The chicken and the beef were pretty average, as were the shrimp and the veggies. I think I will stick with the chili oil and use a lot less spicy seafood next time.

The other thing that I think is going to be awesome is seafood chow fun. I know that sounds crazy, but I think I can get away with it. It’s a challenge for many of us to try to eat our way through the menu, but I think that if I can get past the “fish taste good” phase I think I can actually do it.
