Tracking calories counts calories and is a huge waste of calories. It really makes no sense. What I mean by this is that I would never wear a gym jersey because I don’t want to spend my time in there, plus I’m sure this is why there isn’t a gym right next to my house.

Most gyms charge you a membership fee and then you spend a ton of time there. I doubt you’d do any of the cardio or weight training things at a gym.

I guess you could do those things at home with a dumbbell, but if you do any type of cardio then you have to buy a membership. In addition to all that, most gym memberships include weight equipment that you can use during your workouts. It’s hard to find a home gym that doesn’t include weight equipment, and so most of us end up paying a fair share for it.

This is where the similarities between the two end. Gym memberships do nothing more than add to your monthly bill for the gym. When it comes to the gym itself, you get to go to the gym, you sit there, the instructor does the work, you pay a membership fee, and you go. What the gym lacks in amenities it more than makes up for with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
