I know that my first answer to “should I paint my new construction home” was that I’d rather not. It’s not something I want to do, it’s a big step into a new space, and I’d rather find a way to use my space without my clients seeing it. But the fact is that I feel like I have no choice.
I mean, I get that shell food mart is a thing, but in my opinion – and Id have no problem with that – this is a bad idea. The most important thing to consider when buying a home is how much you can decorate it. And if you don’t have the funds for a nice decor, you do not want to paint it. One of my favorites is lime-green, which is known for its color versatility and longevity. If you have a room in your home that has a lot of accent colors in the room, you may want to give that room some neutral walls to balance the bright colors out.
