This is a simple and very effective exercise that can be done in various ways. The two best ways to do it are to use one arm or both arms, depending on how many rows you plan to do. The second best way is to use both arms. This exercise can be done with the right or the left arm, as long as you are using both arms.
Many of us have been doing this exercise for a long time, but I think the single arm row is the best one. You don’t have to worry about having to hold a bunch of weights one at a time, and you don’t have to keep your other arm bent in order to keep it straight.
