We are the food pantry of our community. We bring fresh food to our neighbors as well as those that live miles away. We also bring fresh food to the nearest hospitals, schools, and other organizations that need it.
We are also a community center that provides help to those in our community who are homeless or food limited. We help them get a job and get back on track. We also help those who are in need of services and housing. We serve the people of St. Joseph, MN.
This is a food pantry. At St. Joseph, we are the local food bank. We do a lot of things to support the community. We go to the store and buy food that is needed. As a volunteer member of the St. Joseph food pantry, I hear so many stories of how much our food is needed. So often we are asked to provide food for those who are homeless or food limited. It makes me sad to think that we are not capable of providing more. I am happy to say that we are capable of doing so. We are able to provide food to those who are in need of help.
I was part of a community this summer that provided food for the homeless during a citywide food drive. I had never been to a food pantry before and I was a bit nervous and anxious to get inside. I was even more nervous to get to the “food bank” where the food is stored.
The pantry is located in a large, bright, and friendly building that is surrounded by a great variety of foods. It’s like a mini-mart, except the pantry is much larger. I can’t speak for all pantries in the city, but my local one is more popular than the food bank.
I was in line to get my groceries and I had a bit of a panic. I had already been at the food bank and decided that I didn’t need to go there, so I was really nervous that I would be turned away. Luckily I heard a lady on the phone to this pantry say that they have a large amount of food and if they needed more, they could take more in. I just had to check it out.

Another way is to use a Paypal to donate, but I don’t know if it still works. You can also donate by giving the item to someone else.
