Thai food is like a light bulb – it goes on and on and on. It is like a light bulb, and it doesn’t need to go on and on in order to show the world how good it is.
The truth is, it is so easy to fall into the trap of thinking Thai food is just like light bulbs. Because we so often associate Thai food with the idea of eating at a restaurant, we get so caught up in it. The problem is that restaurant food is often served with extra Thai flavors, which adds another dimension into the experience.
It seems that the great thing about Thai food is that is comes in so many flavors that we can have so many ways to eat it. We just choose what tastes good when we’re ready to eat it.
For example, the Thai noodle is served with a spicy peanut dipping sauce, a kind of sour sauce that makes it sound like you are eating a Thai peanut butter. The Thai salad is served with a sweet Thai dressing, and the Thai soup is made with fish sauce, so it’s a bit like eating a Thai chili pepper.
Just for the record, these are all very good things. The point is that in a given dish we can choose what we want to eat, and that choice can be changed, and that choice is what makes Thai food so incredible.
When you are eating Thai food, and it’s really good, you can’t help but think, “I want to be Thai. I want to eat Thai food.” So when you are eating it, you are thinking, “Oh, Thai food. I want to be Thai.” But you’re going to be eating Thai food, and you’re on Deathloop, so you don’t even know why you’re doing it.
Thais love their food, and when they try it, you can tell the difference. But I don’t think it is a coincidence that most people who go to Thailand find that food the most.
What’s great about Thailand is that the food is incredibly cheap. You can buy a decent sized pack of fried rice for less than $2, which is really cheap. They also have a number of good restaurants so you can get a bit of the authentic taste of the cuisine.
The problem is that the food is often overpriced and the staff are not always very friendly. I was visiting Bangkok recently and had a very good meal at a very posh restaurant. The waitress was very unprofessional and not at all helpful. She tried to talk me into buying some fried rice that I didnt want. I had to ask her multiple times to bring me the same size pack so I could eat it. I was also served a dish with a side of salad.
