The one with the routine was my favorite subject for this article. I was on a trip to a beautiful farm in the mountains of New Hampshire and had a couple days to kill. I couldn’t help myself.
After looking at the subject of the one with the routine, I was pretty certain I wouldn’t be able to finish writing this article without the routine. Its not a short story, but it’s a little over 7,000 words long. The story follows a young man named Mike who has just moved into his new apartment and is now a full-fledged adult. He’s also a very serious, down-to-earth guy.
The routine begins with Mike getting kicked out of his apartment by his girlfriend and moving in with his best friend. He finds a new apartment and the routine continues with Mike dealing with his new roommates. After a couple hours there are two more things that pop into his mind-one is when his mother died and the other is when his dad died. It leads to his biggest revelation-his dad was a man of letters and the other is his father was a man of the law.
Mike’s dad was a man of letters. This probably didn’t come as a surprise to anyone. In fact, his dad’s life was such that he had trouble keeping to the time of day. It was one thing to wake up and be “the man of letters” every morning. It was another thing to be the “man of legal affairs” all day.
The one about the dad’s time of day was a little more surprising. I think you can probably guess which part. It’s that part where his father was a man of letters. Mikes dad was a man of letters after he was a man of law. It was that time of day that he was a man of law.
Mikes dad was a man of letters after he was a man of law. This is not a reference to the letter M, but it is a reference to a character in the movie Fargo.
I like the idea of that part of the law where he was a man of letters and he was a man of letters and he was a man of letters and he was a man of letters and then he was a man of letters and then he was a man of letters, and then he was a man of letters. Which is pretty much me.
