I’ve heard the phrase, ‘walking dvds for weight loss’, but I’ve never actually seen it. To me, it sounds like yet another health fad that goes nowhere. But I recently saw a movie named ‘The Walk’ and this movie told the story of how a group of overweight overweight women tried a diet and exercise plan and lost a lot of weight. I decided to give it a try.
The main idea is that walking dvds is a way to exercise while burning calories and getting rid of unwanted pounds. The first step would be to walk for an hour 3 days a week. If you walk for the entire day, you’ll burn 4,000 calories. That’s about what a typical day at the gym burns in a week.
You will burn more calories if you go to the gym with a friend because together you’ll be burning more calories. To burn more calories (and more fat) walk at a slower pace. You can do this by walking on a path or a treadmill. You can also walk as you hike, so long as the hill is at least one mile long. If it’s a public path, then you need to know the route and when the path is open.
Not only is walking less physically demanding, it burns less calories. That’s because walking burns more calories in a single step than running does. You can walk faster, but if you’re walking on a path or treadmill, you’ll burn less calories.
Weight loss is a complex issue. There is scientific evidence that walking burns more calories than running but that doesnt mean that walking is good for weight loss. The key is intensity. Running burns more calories than walking at the same time, but youll burn more calories per mile. You can run for more time, but if youre running long distances, youll burn more calories.
Just as with the above, walking, and in particular walking to the point of exhaustion, burns more calories than running. That’s why most people who walk for exercise, or in the case of the above, exercise, can lose more weight without a major overhaul of their diet. The reason is, if youre eating at the same pace, youll burn more calories, and thus lose more weight.
So what about the walking dvds? Well, theyre a lot of fun too. So if you think youre too lazy to go walk to the point of exhaustion, then you can instead just use a dvd player. In fact, the last time I tried to walk to the point of exhaustion I ended up in the emergency room.
You can also add a dvd player to your exercise routine, and watch your exercise videos on your phone. Ive found the two to be one of the best ways to lose weight. And when you combine a dvd player with a set of headphones youll get that extra little bit of exercise that youre probably not really interested in.
And just like my exercise, you can also watch your videos on your phone or computer, to have that special little bit of exercise while your doing your favorite pastime. And you can even download some from the internet to have a little more exercise too, without having to worry about going to the gym. All you need is a dvd player and a decent computer.
This is a great idea for those who are on the fence about whether or not they should add DVDs to their collection. If you want your DVD collection to be more than just a hobby, then dvds are something you need to keep in your collection. The problem is that they’re not the stuff you can just plug into your DVD player and play.
