I am not sure where Chloe Ting lives, but I know that she is a member of the St. Louis area’s culinary community. She’s a frequent contributor to the local food section of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and hosts a podcast called The Gourmet Feast. I had the pleasure of interviewing Chloe about her blog and podcast.

Chloe and I had a lot in common when we talked at the Post-Dispatch. When I was growing up, my dad would drive me to the grocery store, and Chloe never did. She ate what she wanted, and she was a member of the St. Louis culinary community. She wasn’t the biggest person in the family, but she had a lot of personality.

Chloe is a little bit of a party animal herself, and she loves to cook. She has a lot of recipes of her own, but the first recipe she wrote was for a dish with a little twist. This restaurant is actually located in the original Black Pear building, in the same building that Henry and Louis XIV dined in.
