Unfortunately the wearable fitness tracker is not the device I want. It is a great idea in its own right, but I’d rather look at the progress I’m making while I’m training. I’m a big proponent of using a trainer to guide me in the right direction. However, the GPS on my Fitbit works really well for tracking my workouts. I’m actually tracking more than I was doing before I started using the Fitbit.

I was able to use the GPS to track both my weightlifting and cycling workouts, but the heart rate monitor only allowed me to track my cycling. This is because both of those workouts are pretty intense at the beginning of the workout.
