We are really excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual jazzercise live stream on Thursday, July 12th, at 8pm EST/5pm PST. We will be having fun in the studio, getting out-of-body experiences, and doing some deep breathing exercises. We will be discussing the things that are most important to us and our environment, as well as some other topics.
I’m hoping to see some of you there to learn more about jazzercise and other issues important to us. If you’re interested in hearing what we’re hearing, you can find us at www.jazzercise.com.
We will also be doing a full interview with jazzercise co-founder and head DJ, Brian Caulfield, who is co-author of “The Complete Book of Jazz Exercise and Improvisation” as well as “The Complete Book of Jazz Improvisation.” We will also be recording a special session with one of the best jazz musicians in the world, David Mancuso. We hope to see our very own Brian and a few of you there for a special event and interview.
We hope you are ready to bring a new person into your home. To hear a great jazz record with us, just ask for a $5 donation. It will help us reach out to more people and bring us even more in-demand recordings to offer.
As for the live show, we won’t be stopping just until the end of the month. We might be recording one day in the future, but for now it’s just the initial recording that we’re doing. We have already had a couple of people ask to come back and record with us.
That being said, we are really excited to announce the first episode of our new podcast series, www jazzercise, which will be recorded live on the stream. We will be interviewing various jazz singers, musicians, and bands about their music, their lives, and their communities. In addition, we will be talking about jazz music in our home in the hopes that you might just take a minute to check out some of these great music videos and artists.
Jazz is a genre that’s not really well known, and we feel like we can do a better job of showcasing it in a new way. So we are very excited to have the opportunity to do something that we feel is unique and a bit different. We are also very excited to be able to do a live stream.
We wanted to give you a few links to some great music videos and musicians that we think your friends might enjoy. So check out our Spotify playlist, Spotify’s free music stream, and our Youtube playlist. We also have our own YouTube channel for those of you who want to check us out and see what we’re all about.
We love to hear from you. So please feel free to join in with us on our streams or on Facebook or Twitter. And if you want to share your own videos with the world please do. We would love to see them there.
The new spotify playlist we’re streaming is pretty diverse. It’s a mix of the old school, jazz, and more current artists. We’re also streaming on Spotify’s free music stream. It’s pretty good. And our YouTube playlist has some of the more current albums and bands.
