I’m currently reading The Three Levels of Self-Awareness by David Nichols. It’s a book I’ve wanted to read for years. I’ve been meaning to start it for weeks now, but I always find myself distracted or otherwise unable to get through it. I think it’s because it’s a book about consciousness, but I don’t think it covers any of the questions I’m looking for.
We have a tendency to take things too seriously. This is why we have to take ourselves seriously.
We need to learn to take ourselves lightly. Our actions, our thoughts, and our emotions are just as important as what we’re going to say and what we’re going to do. If we can take ourselves seriously, then we will not have to take ourselves too seriously.

I think this is really a problem with the concept of taking ourselves seriously and taking ourselves too seriously. We should seriously take ourselves seriously, that we have the maturity and the perspective to do something that might be important to us. But when we take ourselves too seriously, we are not taking ourselves seriously at all. We are just taking ourselves too seriously.
We make assumptions about our own lives and then we make assumptions about what they mean. If we are not sure what it is, we assume it doesn’t matter, which can lead us to miss important things that do matter. And we are not just limited to the physical here. We are also limited in what we are capable of doing. As long as I can carry my own weight, I can do just about anything I want. But we are also limited to the way we are capable of doing it. And that’s why we need to live in the present, in the now. We cannot live in the past. We have nothing to do with the past.
