I have been in China for a year now and I am so excited to be able to share my favorite dishes with you here on the blog. The first dish I ate in China was Chinese food and I have been craving it ever since. I was a student and lived in Beijing for 11 years. I have never tasted such delicious Chinese food as I had while living in China.
I have to be honest: It’s hard to find good Chinese food in China and I know many people who have a really bad experience. I love Chinese food but I know some people who aren’t as open-minded to it.
I eat a lot of Chinese food. I have a really bad habit of eating all the same things over and over. When I was in Beijing I would eat all the same things everyday. However, I had a bad habit of having a lot of different types of food in one day. I found it hard to find good Chinese food in China and I knew people who had a bad experience.
I agree. It takes a lot to get bad habits going. I’ve had bad experiences of eating certain things or trying to avoid eating certain foods. I was once really bad at eating shrimp (it’s an acquired taste) but I’ve gotten better. I think it’s hard for some to eat different types of food than what they grew up with.
If you’re trying to change your eating habits, I would recommend starting with good food, healthy food. Then you can experiment by trying to avoid certain foods. After you find what works for you in a good way, you can then try making a change in how you eat.
Well that’s the thing, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been doing a little experimentation so far. Sometimes when I eat anything I’m really craving something I won’t have. Sometimes when I’m trying to eat something I really like, its hard to eat something that I don’t like. Sometimes I’ll eat something I know I shouldn’t eat just to see what happens. After you find what works for you, try making a change by trying to eat less junk food.
And then there’s the best part, you can always just take care of it yourself. No worries, we all have that one thing that we want or need without even realizing it. I mean, I know I wish I didnt have to worry about some of my health issues, but Ive been really good about taking care of those things.
I’m not sure if my mom has ever eaten chinese food before, but she’s not exactly an expert. I’m not sure if she’s ever eaten chinese food because I think she thinks it’s unhealthy.
Well, yes, I’d put her health at risk, but you can always just take care of it yourself. I mean, I don’t know if she’s ever eaten chinese food because I think she thinks its unhealthy.
Well, obviously. That being said, after talking to her I think she is definitely more open to trying it. It sounds like shes already had it once, so she might actually have a good idea of how to prepare it.
