the last 5 days have been filled with good food. A number of friends have stopped by our house to drop off a few things, and I have enjoyed some very good food. I have also had an opportunity to really learn a new skill. I have been able to cook a new dish and learn a new technique that I can use in the future for my own cooking.
I have learned that cooking is one of those things that really is fun to do. You can cook with a variety of ingredients, and it is often a very rewarding experience to take something that is relatively simple and make it into something that is really beautiful. I have also learned to cook for myself, cooking only a little bit more of each ingredient that is on hand. This was a huge discovery for me, and one that I will continue to make, I think.
For some reason I think that I just need to eat a lot more cheese now. It seems like people who have a very particular taste for it never seem to tire of it. They just eat it all the time. I don’t know if it is the cheese, the cheese is just really good, or I just have an extra cheese addiction.
There are definitely ways to be more creative in the kitchen. I have always loved baking, but I have never made as much as I would like. It just takes a lot of time and energy to learn how to prepare a lot of food. Most people who are creative in the kitchen, are creative in a different way, by the way. I am a big believer in “just enough.
There are probably more creative ways to cook and bake than I know of. But I will say that I find it easier to cook and bake with whole foods than with lots of additives and preservatives.
As you may know, we are not big fans of salt, but you can add it to almost anything and it makes it taste better. We like to get the salt out of food and keep it out of the environment. Additives add to the cost of food and make it more expensive, plus they spoil the taste of the food. We are big advocates of natural, homemade, whole foods, but it is a balance. We don’t really have that much to say about that subject.
We just want you to know that we are big fans of the USDA’s whole foods guidelines. The idea is that if you buy a packaged food, the package can’t tell you how much salt, sugar, or flour it contains. Then you can use the same package to buy a can of soda or a package of cookies…you don’t have to buy a whole package to get what you want.
The whole foods guidelines also apply to produce. A lot of people get very confused about the difference between fresh foods and that stuff that is packaged in bottles. Fresh foods are actually the foods that have not been in storage for a long time. The idea is not to cook them and cook them with all the salt and sugar and flour, it is just to cook them. This is one of the major issues people who get the whole foods guidelines get wrong.
The biggest problem with fresh food is that it gets hard to tell what is fresh because it is so easily spoiled. So if something is packaged in a bottle, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be spoiled. So there is a lot of misconception about where food comes from because they are packaged in a bottle and the packaging is so easy to break.
Of course, fresh food is easy to eat, but that doesn’t mean its good for you. It is, however, a good way to avoid having to think about eating food. Even when you buy it at the store, it is still hard to tell when you’re eating food because it is so hard to tell what’s in the package.
