I was just thinking about the new Google Photos app and how it could be great for photographers and just how much they could save in the process. I guess since the code isnt sent to you on your phone or laptop it might be best to just use something like Facebook or Twitter instead.

I use to save my photos to Dropbox (which I have to admit is a pain) and use the Google Photos app to tag and save them as well. I find that the Google Photos app makes tagging my photos much easier. I don’t use Google Photos for everything, but if I want to save photos to my phone, it’s pretty easy.
This is one of those things that I always have to justify to Google. My current phone has a camera that has a button to save photos to Google Photos. Why would I want to save my photos to my phone when I can save them to Google Photos? Google has its reasons for this decision, but the fact is I use my phone for everything.
