I’ve been a very busy coach of clients’ lives, but I still haven’t been able to get my thoughts on the subject of inner channeling and inner leadership down in writing. That’s why Channeling Coach is a great book to get you started.
It talks at length about the inner voices that run in our heads. When I first read this book I thought it was just a bunch of buzzwords, but now I think it is a book that covers some very important ideas.
In the book the author puts it this way:”There is a constant inner dialogue, a voice and a thought that guides all of us. It isn’t always conscious, it is a constant inner flow that is constantly changing. It is a voice that is heard inside our head and it is a thought that influences every decision we make. It is a thought that flows through us.
The author states she was born with a hypochondriac, so obviously her hypochondriasis made the rest of her life. She also states she is prone to self doubt and self criticism since she is so introspective. But the book is also a book about how we can create a positive inner dialogue so we don’t have to worry about the outside world so much.
I think it is an inner dialogue if I may be so bold to say it. I mean, a lot of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot.
When people have a negative thought, they’re not thinking about themselves at all. We’re just thinking about something else. We’re not considering how this person could be a better person than we are, how this person could be like us, what this person could be like if we were to change our behavior.
This is a common problem with newbies trying to figure out how to get their life to be better. They start by thinking about what they “should” be doing and what they should be thinking about, and then they start to worry about what people think about them.
Well, if you’re thinking about yourself, then you’re probably thinking about the right thing. For example, you probably are trying to lose weight, or you probably should be working out more, or maybe you should talk to a coach, or maybe you should be taking a yoga class, or perhaps you should get a personal trainer, or maybe you should get a new car.
As you may have noticed, we all have ways of worrying about ourselves. Our thoughts, feelings, and actions have a massive effect on our lives. Our thoughts control us but our feelings are also very powerful. We need to stop ourselves from worrying about things that are going to make us feel bad. It helps us to be aware of the emotions that are going to keep us from acting in certain ways.
