For me, the most exciting event of the year is the food truck alliance that I am organizing to bring food trucks to Indy. I have been a part of this group since 2010. The idea is to have a food truck or two in every city in the state. We need to figure out how we can get more trucks to carry on the Indy food truck scene.
The fact of the matter is that as long as there are food trucks in a city, people are going to want to eat there. Indy may be the largest food truck city in the nation, but it’s not the only one. The food truck scene is growing across the country. I know people in other cities who have trucks and think they should get more. We’ve just got to figure out how to make it happen.
For every man who kills the Indy food truck, the number of people who get behind that truck, and the number of people who take off the truck. This is all completely insane and totally ridiculous. People will all become people who take off the truck. The number of people who get behind the truck is going to explode.
We have an alliance that wants to let people know that food trucks are legit, and they can get behind the trucks. The two of us (me and the food truck guy) are going to help this alliance. We do this by finding some people who are willing to go on the food truck circuit and make the event happen. If you want to help, just contact us.
There has been a ton of talk about food trucks. In one sense, it is all fine and dandy. People have always wanted to eat food from trucks, but the reality is that the trucks are pretty awful. Most have no seating, and there are a few that do not have a kitchen at all. A more complete list of the worst food trucks can be found here. We have only been able to get a food truck association to come to our events after months of trying.
We do not have any food trucks at our events. Most of the food trucks we have are all very good, but we cannot get a full food truck alliance to come. We would like to give you a list of the food trucks that we have, but there is no way to get them to come to our events.
If you have any thoughts, please leave a comment and let us know what food trucks you have. If you have not yet been to our events, please consider getting yourself there.
For those without food trucks, we are also offering a list of the farmers markets that we have. These are local markets that we buy ingredients from at, and many are open 7 days a week. We buy locally grown food, so we have many local farmers. We have to buy from 3-5 different farmers, so we are not able to have a full food truck alliance.
We are currently looking for a truck or food truck alliance. At the moment we have a group of up to six food trucks that will meet on a weekly basis to cook up meals and do food truck tours. The food trucks may be a mix of food trucks and cars, but they will always be open for business.
