We are all, at least once, a soldier. The military are our protectors and keepers not only of the nation, but of every man, woman, and child that serves in the armed forces. So, with that in mind, please don’t make the assumption that you have to take a particular position in life, because that’s not always the case.
I believe that we (military personnel) are the absolute best at our jobs because we are constantly reminded of just how good our job is. When you are on the front lines you see just how many atrocities take place, and you also see just how much of an impact the life of a soldier can have. So, please, please, please take a more active role in the military to help make a difference in the world.
While it would be a shame to see you go, please do so with the right attitude. The military needs you, and it doesn’t need to see you as a burden.
