In the videos below you can see a variety of exercises that strengthen your shoulders, back, hip, neck, and shoulders. Weighted chairs can also be used as a form of spine exercise.
I love the idea of using a weighted chair to improve your posture. There are a lot of different exercises to try and it’s best to find the one that works best for you. But you can definitely make your own weighted chair at home by using a few standard household items and some heavy-duty rubber bands.
What’s more difficult to do is find any form of exercise that targets your spine. The back of our neck can be a tough target for weight-bearing exercise, as can the spine itself. The exercise below does a good job of targeting the spine, but it also targets the upper arms. It’s possible to use this exercise to strengthen the upper arms and shoulders, but I don’t recommend it.
